One day a few years ago, I realized that I had a serious problem with depression. I had been acting like nothing was wrong, when truthfully I was struggling to make it day to day. I was really worried that I would eventually take my own life, which is why I started looking for a therapist. However, as soon as I started meeting with someone to talk about my feelings, things seemed to change. I started learning key coping techniques that helped me to leave my problems in the past, and I can't even begin to tell you how much of a difference it made. I want others to know how much counseling can help, which is why I made this website.
